European Conferences United
The institution behind Retail Summit, Club of 369 and the Solution Providers Hub.
Since 2002, European Conferences United has designed and operated structures that give large professional communities an active role in shaping programmes, exchanging experience and building relationships across retail and consumer goods.
Today, that work is most visible in Poland & CEE Retail Summit, our principal platform, and in the Club of 369 and Solution Providers Hub, which extend that participation around the Summit throughout the year.
Established in Poland in 2002.

550+ people on stage

The roots of today’s Retail Summit reach back to 2003, when European Conferences United was developing specialist professional events across rapidly changing consumer markets. As retail became the common thread, those strands came together in 2009 as Poland & CEE Retail Summit.
Today, the Summit brings thousands of professionals together across 18 specialist stages, with more than 550 people contributing on stage.
The structure is designed for company teams. Specialists can go deep into the questions closest to their own responsibilities, while colleagues from the same company participate across other functions. Together, those perspectives reveal how decisions connect across the business and what they mean beyond a single function.
Club of 369
Club of 369. Hundreds of professionals active throughout the year.
Hundreds of members bring company experience into a year-round professional community.
Hundreds of members bring experience from inside their own companies into the Club. They meet across functions, test questions against different professional realities and see parts of the business that sit outside their own roles.
The Club continues to develop between Summits. Relationships deepen, questions sharpen and new perspectives enter the community. When Retail Summit returns, it meets a professional core that has been active all year.
Solution Providers Hub
Solution Providers Hub.
Shared experience from where change has to work.
Through the Solution Providers Hub, European Conferences United works year-round with companies that help retailers and consumer-goods businesses turn decisions into technology, services and implementation.
Their Navigators bring experience from clients, projects and implementations into the Hub. They compare what works, where decisions stall and what needs to be in place for change to succeed. What one company sees in one part of the market can help others recognise a wider pattern.
Organised around more than 50 business Decision Areas, the Hub gives those companies a structured way to learn from one another, sharpen their view of the market and stay close to the questions shaping future demand.

Since 2002
Since 2002. Built in Poland, with Europe in view.
European Conferences United was established on 15 November 2002. Four weeks later, Poland concluded its negotiations to join the European Union.
ECU began from the conviction that deeper European integration would accelerate change across Poland’s consumer markets. Competition, technology and professional capability would develop quickly. Poland would build its own answers, and experience created here would increasingly contribute to the wider European market.
That idea still shapes how ECU works today: build structures that allow professional experience to move between companies, functions and markets, and become more valuable through active participation.
Retail Summit, Club of 369 and the Solution Providers Hub are the most visible structures built around that approach. Around them, other recurring formats give that approach different forms. Two examples are Dinners2Connect and Retailer of the Year.
